THIS REVOLUTIONARY TOOTHBRUSH IS A NEWCOMER TO THE DENTAL HYGIENE MARKET IN SLOVAKIA.

A semiconductor titanium dioxide rod, which is activated by any light source (daylight, fluorescent lights in the bathroom, clear fluorescent tubes) is integrated within the brush handle. After being activated, the titanium dioxide rod begins to emanate negatively charged ions, which are mixed in the mouth with saliva and react with positively charged ions from the acid contained in the plaque.

After a chemical reaction, the pH of saliva in the mouth changes; the environment changes from acidic to neutral. That is the important moment when our tooth enamel becomes more resistant to undesirable bacteria. Titanium dioxide is an insoluble metal which does not corrode in water and is reliably safe. Is also is used by the food and construction industries, particularly due to its antibacterial effect.

Soladey-eco does not need toothpaste for perfect cleaning of the teeth, just light and water. You do not need to worry that your tooth enamel will be badly stained. Cleaning of teeth without toothpaste restores their natural colour. If you cannot get rid of unpleasant odour after cleaning your teeth with the Soladey-eco brush, we recommend using mouthwash.

Moreover, the Soladey-eco brush is a good investment both from a health and economic point of view. When used properly, the handle, with its titanium dioxide rod, will last a few years. It is only necessary to exchange the head.

The toothbrush is sold with a spare MEDIUM head and is available in seven colours - black, purple, green, red, blue, pink and yellow.

Spare SOLADEY-ECO heads are available in four types:

  • MEDIUM – a head designated for adults and children over 7 years of age
  • SOFT – a head suitable for people with sensitive gums
  • TAPERED – a soft head with elongated bristles, which helps to clean interdental spaces
  • CHILD – a head intended for children under the age of 7 years

A Japanese clinical report (Kusonoki et al. A study of the effect of the solar energy toothbrush on the control of dental plaque Osaka J. Odon. Soc., 49, 550-559, 1986,) conducted research of titanium dioxide toothbrushes and confirmed that these toothbrushes effectively contribute to the regulation of dental plaque.

A clinical study of the Canadian College of Dentistry (Hoower et al. Clinical evaluation of a light energy conversion toothbrush J. Clin. 434-436 Periodontal 19.434-436 1992) showed that the elimination of dental plaque (particularly at the gum line) was more visible when using a titanium dioxide toothbrush.
